What were you raised on? For me it was tough love, chores, snacks on the go and a whole lot of butter bread. Or as I'd refer to them as, butter sandwiches. This month {May 2021} we released a new limited edition candle called Butter Bread and it has all the warm notes of fluffy white bread with sweet fresh butter laid out in between, but for me there's a flood of moments and lifetime of memories that come flooding back between those 2 pieces of bread and little bit of butter.   I won't keep you long, your out there living your life too, but I'll share with you something that is short and sweet. Google defines a friend as a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. So a friend is someone who knows you better than you know yourself. Someone who takes a position in your best interest in times of crisis or urgency. Friendship goes beyond just sharing time together, it's ever lasting and many times undefinable. Our Best Friend candle shares a story with multiple chapters because quite often we never just have one friend. One of the things I hoped to bring to our little community here is background. Odd word choice right? Background? When I started making candles back in 2016 it was something that just kind of happened. I was very blessed to be shown hands on by a friend and then from there research and make it my own to uncover what really works best for me, and for the candles I intended to make. The Struggle For Small Business

As I was driving into work today. God put it on my heart to talk about, and give a voice to the view point of a small business owner in America today. While I'm not the most experienced or well versed in the ways of business types and styles, I know the struggles all to well of what I've faced over near year of never ending disrupt.
